Hi there, this is Cathy who loves laughing and making others laugh. Living in the U.S. for school and then work, originally from China. I love performing stand-up comedy, watching movies, reading, and talking with interesting people. I became a Bahai at the beginning of this year after I started to learn the faith after one year. It was a very funny story that I met my neighbor - now one of my best friends and a very devoted Bahai in our laundry room. I lost one insole and she found it. That’s how I met her and started to go to her place for devotional every Friday. With more than 6 Bahais once living in our apartment building, we call it our “Bahai apartment building” ( though some people call it lucky building for tech people as co-founders of Google lived in our building for a while : )
It would be great to know someone who is kind-hearted, spiritual, and intelligent. I really enjoy talking with people of different cultures, religions and work to try to understand their mentalities instead of simply judging them with what I think is “right”. I hope you have the same mindset. Life has giving us so many beautiful things and we need to spend more time to find them!

"The true marriage of Bahá'í is this, that husband and wife should be united both physically and spiritually, that they may ever improve the spiritual life of each other, and may enjoy everlasting unity throughout all the worlds of God. This is Bahá'í marriage." - 'Abdu'l-Bahá (Selections from the Writings of 'Abdu'l-Bahá, p. 117)
