A simple girl with a warped sense of humour, or so I'm told, and always up for a good laugh. I'm introverted and bookish. I love to read and learn new things. I'm a cultural anthropologist by training and will bore you with stories about homo neanderthalensis if you want to know more. My masters and PhD research was focused on the Middle East and North Africa. I'm happy most of the time. I'm not very practiced at talking about myself. I think often of the Fire Tablet, "the lamps of truth, purity, loyalty and honour.." these are the virtues I work to develop most in myself. Honesty means a lot to me. I have been a Baha'i since I was 19 years old when someone told me the story of The Bab and I felt like I had been waiting to hear it all of my life. I did not sleep for three days and declared soon after. I am deeply in love with Baha'u'llah and with God. DISCLAIMER: I'M NOT ACTUALLY 36 YEARS OLD. I don't want to put my actual age because I think it limits the possibility of friendships with people of all ages based on how the website matches people. How old am I? Older than the oldest cat. Younger than a mountain. I'm here to make friends though, not to find a partner.
Great sense of humour, passion for life, humility and honesty. I want to share stories and ideas, deep thoughts and light ones too, music and art, joy and gentleness. I am not looking to be married but I am very interested in meeting new people and making new friends.

"The true marriage of Bahá'í is this, that husband and wife should be united both physically and spiritually, that they may ever improve the spiritual life of each other, and may enjoy everlasting unity throughout all the worlds of God. This is Bahá'í marriage." - 'Abdu'l-Bahá (Selections from the Writings of 'Abdu'l-Bahá, p. 117)
